Description

Ingredients

  • 1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 3 cups ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.
  3. Toast the baguette slices in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Once the baguette slices are toasted, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  6. Top each slice with a generous spoonful of the tomato mixture.
  7. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the bruschetta before serving.

Notes
