- 2 packets of instant ramen noodles
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes)
- 2 tablespoons of cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the instant ramen noodles. Cook according to package instructions, usually about 3 minutes.
- While the noodles are cooking, in a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the soy sauce, gochugaru, cream cheese, and water to the pan. Stir until the mixture is well combined and creamy.
- Once the noodles are cooked, reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking water, then drain the rest.
- Add the drained noodles to the sauce, along with the reserved cooking water. Toss to combine, ensuring the noodles are evenly coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables or protein like egg, chicken, or tofu for a complete meal.
- Adjust the spiciness by reducing or increasing the gochugaru to your taste.
