- 1 medium watermelon, cut into chunks
- 2 cups of lemon-lime soda or sparkling water
- 1 cup of fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup of simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a blender, puree the watermelon chunks until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove pulp.
- Add the fresh lime juice and simple syrup to the watermelon juice and stir well.
- Just before serving, add the lemon-lime soda or sparkling water to the pitcher and stir gently to combine.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup according to your taste.
- For an adult version, consider adding a splash of vodka or rum.
